In the city of aquatic life and never ending bikes we somehow squeezed in the introduction of the NORDIC AREPA...
With the help of our best friend Andrew Heneghan and his talented partner Martin Reinicke of Blomsterskuret Florist Studio, we set out to not just explore the city of Copenhagen, but also put on a pop-up dinner party that brought our favorite things together - sailors sangria, smoked fish, squid ink, corn masa, a raw flower studio, and multiple strangers.
Stay tuned for a California version of this event .. it has to be replicated or else it's just unfair to the rest of the world.
In-between event planning and recipe testing, we managed to bike/walk/snack endlessly around the city. Pro tips from Andrew include visiting Helges Ost Deli, Loes Market, and chugging flat whites at Granola. Also - a MUST is biking to La Banchina for natural wine and then a polar plunge + sauna combo. It'll save your life.
